Richard Oliver Beamish Jennings, a 76-year-old man from Carnoustie, died peacefully and unexpectedly on Monday, September 21, 2026.
His death has left his family and friends mourning the loss of a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
Richard was a devoted husband to Tricia and a loving father to Scott, Ian and Robbie. He was also a proud grandfather to Ryan, with his family remembering him for the important place he held in their lives.
Celebration of Richard’s Life
Family and friends will gather to remember Richard at a celebration of his life at Parkgrove Crematorium in Friockheim on Friday, October 9, at 1:30 p.m.
Everyone who knew Richard and wishes to pay their respects is welcome to attend the service.
The family has asked for family flowers only. Those who would like to make a donation in his memory can contribute to Maggie’s at the crematorium.
Those attending the service are also advised that black clothing is not essential.
Richard’s passing has brought sadness to those who knew him, while his family prepares to celebrate his life and remember the many years and memories they shared together.
